The Future Is Here . . .  And We Are The Experts
At Bringing It To You
A common fantasy about the automated home and office of the future
is that  lights and appliances will operate by themselves or with minimal

effort by the occupants. Such a scenario would contribute to energy
efficiency and extended bulb and appliance life. It is now possible to
bring these futuristic options into the present day.

A home/office automation system is a network of transmitters and
receivers which use the home's existing AC wiring to control lighting and
appliances. Switching signals are sent through the wiring in response to
user-devised programs, remote or manual control.

Photocell sensor/transmitters can be used as a "night watchman" by turning

on indoor or outdoor lights in response to approaching darkness. In addition, lights and appliances
can be programmed to turn on and off only when needed or when recommended by the manufacturer.

Homeowners can now enjoy the convenience of remote control switching for lights and applicances
from anywhere in the residence. For example,  homeowners can switch downstairs lights and
appliances on or off from upstairs; switch outdoor and entry lights on from inside the car; turn off
lights in children's bedrooms from the master bedroom; and switch and dim lights across the room
from any easy chair by remote control from up to 75 feet away without wires.

Other uses for this type of technology includes the programmed control of sprinkler systems,
thermostates for both heating and cooling, telephone control of the automation network from any
touch-tone phone and as an interface with burglar alarms which flash lights when the alarm is
tripped.

A home/office automation network can be installed one step at a time, as needs and budgets
dictate. Installation can take place during construction, as add-ons, or at the user's discretion.
Many components wire just like a standard light switch or outlet, resulting in a lower installation
cost and higher value than similar systems which rely on dedicated wiring.
